Overview

Consultation is an important component of the Environmental Assessment (EA) process and will be ongoing throughout the study. The consultation process facilitates two-way communication between the Project Team and interested stakeholders to present key project information, obtain information about the study area, and gather feedback to support and enhance planning and design decisions.

The Project Team encourages interested stakeholders to provide comments at any time during the study.

To provide comments please contact the Project Team through one of the methods on the contact page. All comments received, with the exception of personal information, will become part of the public record and may be included in project documentation.

Project Notices

Stakeholders will be notified about this study at key project milestones, including the Notice of Study Commencement/Notice of Addendum, Notice of Public Information Centre (PIC), and Notice of Submission (filing of the Design and Construction Report which will include information on any addendums) and the DCR will be published in the local newspaper, distributed to the Project contact list, and made available on the Project website.

Project notices will be sent directly to regulatory agencies, local municipalities, Indigenous communities, potentially interested stakeholders and organizations, and members of the public on the project contact list. Notices will also be published in the Cornwall Seaway News and Cornwall Express and posted on this website. Notice of Commencement

This Project is following the approved planning process for a Group ‘B’ project under the MTO Class Environmental Assessment (Class EA) for Provincial Transportation Facilities (2000). Consultation will be ongoing throughout the Project.
